Rose White

Rose White possesses a dark, smokey contralto that echoes the raw, confessional emotionality of artists like Amy Winehouse and Joy Crookes. Layered over the complex, moody rhythms of modern jazz, soul and R&B, her sound combines the rigid vocal discipline of Eastern European conservatoires with the swagger of a true London soul rebel.
Polish born, she moved to the city with £300 and two suitcases, paving her way into the music industry through an open mics scene. Rose eventually started booking shows that quickly captured the public’s eye.
Her recent body of work, a sophomore EP ‘A Night With A Sazerac’ was released in April earlier this year and was celebrated with not one, but two sold-out headline shows.
Rose is slowly, but persistently curving her spot on London's map of soul and jazz.
