Santoz

Santoz is a singer, composer and beatmaker, born in Rio de Janeiro. His musical influences include a wide range of styles, from roots samba, Afrobeat, Cuban music, but the focus of his work is North American black music in genres such as soul, funk, R&B. The artist has several musical projects released such as the EPs Vol. 1, 2 and 3, Sessão de Estúdio Vol. 1, in addition to the singles "Me permit", "Dinheiro é prestige", "Sintonia", "Sorry our time is too much " and the most recent "Ana". The artist is also known for his participation in works by other artists, including Cizinho Afreka and Vinicius Terra.

Santoz combines the essence of Brazilian music with American black music. His main influences include artists such as Tim Maia, Ed Motta, Stevie Wonder, Jorge Ben Jor, Cassiano, Michael Jackson, D'angelo, The Roots, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Marvin Gaye, Gonzaguinha, Emilio Santiago, Roberto Ribeiro, Teddy Pendergrass , James Brown, Rick James, The Isley Brothers, Sade and Maxwell.

In addition to his musical career, Santoz is a bartender and creator of the YouTube channel "Cocktails & Sessions", where he welcomes other artists and musicians for conversations about their careers and live sessions with guests. The program has a face-to-face format open to the public with events that have already taken place in Rio de Janeiro.
