Dungaree is a Hungarian raw-stoner band from Szeged, formed in early 2014. Composed of vocalist Gergely Laszlo, guitarist Zoltan Horvath, bassist Attila Balogh.
They released they debut full length album ‘Bipolar World’ in August 2016.
In 2018 they released their second album 'Electric Altar'. The album was recorded in London with the Grammy award winner producer and engineer Liam Watson (White Stripes, Electric Wizard) in his own Toe Rag Studio. The whole album was recorded live in full analog.
It was mastered by Noel Summerville (Clash, Sleep, Electric Wizard)
The band delivers a raw kind of stoner music, with grunge and all kind of rock influence, mixed with some pure loudness.
There isn’t any unnecessary fill or track. What you hear on the record is what you get live.
They won the ‘Best song of September’ at Hungarian Petofi Radio (2016) with their song called ‘Glazed Eyes’ and they were also the judges’ choice at the Global Battle of Bands in 2015.
