Domix

Domix were created by Richard Poyner in 2013. Having been busy writing his own material he wanted a band big enough to create and fuse all the different aspects of his songs. Most importantly Richard wanted to include two female voices as well as his own to provide contrast and variety. In Najwa Ezzaher and Susan Allotey he believes he has found those voices which allow the band to explore Soul, Blues, Country and Rock genres. Richard is hesitant to list his influences as he is not sure he would do them any justice and they are, mostly, from a bygone era. However, Lennon and Bowie would be among them. Domix hold down a residency every Friday evening at the Palm Beach Club, Mayfair, London (www.thepalmbeach.co.uk) as well as playing regular shows at the Pizza Express in Soho and the Hippodrome all of which has helped them build a loyal following.
