DJ Pone

DJ Pone is one of the most respected figures in French hip-hop and electronic music — a turntablist turned live performer who plays his own music on stage, blending decks, pads and machines.

In 2026 he celebrates 30 years behind the decks with a special anniversary tour — a full live show where he reworks and rebuilds his repertoire in real time, joined on stage by longtime collaborators.

Founder of the legendary crew Birdy Nam Nam and a Victoire de la Musique winner, Pone came up through the Double H DJ Crew and the DMC championships, building a signature style where technique always serves the music. Over three decades he's held the decks on tour with NTM and crossed paths with Svinkels, TTC, Triptik, Scred Connexion and the Casseurs Flowters (Orelsan & Gringe).

As a solo artist he's released the albums Radiant, 1978 and Sarh, plus the EP Erratic Impulses on Ed Banger Records, and collaborated with Oxmo Puccino, Jeanne Added and Georgio. His latest album, Bass Culture, fuels an explosive hybrid live set at the crossroads of hip-hop and electronics.
