HORRYFIED

Horryfied was formed in the early of 2008, with the formation : Ijat, Shaikh, Paes, Purji, Raja, Adli. Not too long after we record our first Promo, Purji decided to resign, due to his concern of his study. (2009) Then Adam joins us to fill up the spot and add more tunes. (2011) Unfortunately, about a year after Raja join, he decided to leave the band and focus on his study. Shortly after Raja's departure, our close member of the band, Afifi, came along and replaced Raja's spot. So now here are six of us, struggle and survive. We can say that our basic genre is Metal, with Progressive in most of our songs, and mix with Experimental, we called it “Progressive Metal”. We always try to come up with honest lyric about stories or feelings and straight to the point, like when you have story or problem that you want to share with your friends, you told them then they gives you advices or just listen to your story. Basically that’s what we do in our lyrics, honest story, advices to struggle, and enjoy your life while you can. Horryfied managed to play various gigs in Kelantan, slowly building up our followers. We started with “Madness” song that spread well enough over MySpace and make people start to put us on their playlist, not too long after that we published “Promo 2008” that also got good responses. Then we constantly hit the stages, shows, and gigs, and also write the songs for our upcoming Demo. Then in the middle of 2010 (2 year after we formed) we started the process of our first demo, while we still constantly played some shows, and writing more songs. After the long process, we released our first demo titled “Promo 2010” in June 2010 by D.I.Y way (produced and distribute by ourselves). Syukur Alhamdulillah, this demo got good responses, by fill some request from the crowd in the gigs or shows. In 2010 & 2011, we started & fully focus on the shows & gigs. We play in around Malaysia – Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Negeri Sembilan, Kelantan & etc. (2012) We want to play the shows as many as we can, especially in your town ! It must be fun to visit new places with new friends, call us to play at your city, we would love to come and make new friends.
