About Dre Murro
From the tender age of two, DeAndre "Dre Murro" Moore has been stealing hearts and enthralling listeners, gracing the stages of church youth choirs in North Carolina and shining in Off-Broadway musicals in the Big Apple. Now at 27, the "Prince of R&B from NC" is more than prepared to heat up the R&B scene!
Dre's musical journey took off in 2016 with his debut mixtape, 9INE, which spawned the much-loved track PlayTime, garnering over 200k streams on Pandora. In 2017, Dre and his father established 9INE Records, teaming up with EMPIRE for an exclusive distribution deal. This partnership kicked off with the release of Know U Know (featuring Young Dolph), produced by the Grammy-nominated Ricky Racks. Dre then embarked on an HBCU college tour and dropped another mixtape, hosted by legendary DJ Bigga Rankin. After collaborating with NC producer Blk Assassin on two EPs (Let's Talk & Let's Talk Too) and dropping the self-recorded Season 1 mixtape, Dre made the big move to Atlanta in 2019. In 2020, he unveiled the acclaimed project, Her New Favorite.
Fast forward to 2023, and Dre is BACK after a 3-year hiatus with the Afrobeats-infused single "4 Me Only," crafted by multi-platinum producer Mr. Hanky! And here's the exciting part – #4MeOnly is just the tip of the iceberg as the first single from an electrifying collaborative EP by Dre Murro & Mr. Hanky, coming later this year. Press "PLAY" to hear why Dre Murro is becoming "Her New Favorite" R&B artist!
