Wisecrack

Wisecrack are a loud punk/folk power trio who hail from such obscure countries as Brazil, North America and Cornwall. The band started in 2011 when Matt released a self titled acoustic ep before recruiting Lee Byrne on bass and Danny Robinson on drums. Before long, a full length album was released by the name of "Pining For The Road". After a member shift, Callum Turk and Luciano Takahashi were introduced to the wondrous majesty of Wisecrack, still remaining a power trio. Lots of shows and a tour of the north UK (the better half) left the members of the band hating each other as so many bands do. Needless to say, cats were held hostage and houses burnt down. BUT THEN THIS HAPPENED! - www.wisecrack.bandcamp.com/releases "Whiskey, No Mixer" was released early 2014 with a whole torrent of musicians putting their part into Wisecracks second full length album. Wisecrack focus on energetic performances, stimulating work ethic and enjoyment of sport. As well as all the anti-fascist, anti-homophobe, anti-racist, pro-choice, pro-feminist, DIY ethos that goes along with being in a shit punk rock band from the UK. Enjoy everything. All the time.
