I've seen manatree 5 or 6 times now. This was the first time I wasn't impressed with their performance. They weren't nearly as tight as usual and seemed like they weren't as comfortable with their parts. Additionally, while there isn't much they can do about it, they were just not manatree without Tristan. His parts were what pulled the songs together. The songs he wrote were also very missed. Tristan singing added a whole new aspect to the show. His songs were always the highlight of the show for me. I still absolutely love the songs that the lead singer sings, but Tristan will be missed. Really hoping that his songs made it to the next record.
