About The Lounge Hounds

The "Lounge Hounds" formed in 2008 in Chilliwack, B.C. They have been Rockin' the House throughout the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland since. Singer/Guitarist Keith Marr, bassist Evan Duncan and drummer Tyson Finley came together out of their shared love of original Rock & Roll, R&B and Pop music of the 60's. Heavily influenced by the pioneering of artists such as Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley the trio focused on bringing a fresh sensibility to Rockabilly. Keeping in step with the British Invading Teddy Boys, they deliver a solid punch of lively hooks, high-octane rhythms and finely executed melodies to a new generation of roots rock fans. A talented multi-instrumentalist, frontman Keith Marr cut his musical teeth in a household headed by its own band leader. His father founded "The Hornets", an R&B Pop act, in the U.K. over 35 years ago. The band continues to perform throughout British Columbia with Keith playing bass and adding vocals. This legacy has given Keith a wealth of knowledge, insight and experience that only an industry upbringing can provide. Evan Duncan swings the deep grooves on both Stand-up and conventional bass. Tyson Finley locks it down with steady driving backbeats sprinkled with big-band jazz stylings on drums. In the autumn of 2015, guitarist Erik J. Matthews made sporadic appearances with the band adding dynamics and helped fill out the sound on stage. Currently, the "Lounge Hounds" are seeking to broaden their performance capacity and recording horizons beyond Western Canada into the U.S. markets. We Seek representation, promotion and investment for product creation and tour support. See you out there on the road. -K. Marr, E. Duncan, T. Finley Since 2008, "Lounge Hounds" have been playing their version of high energy influenced rock and roll/rockabilly/classic rock throughout the Lower Mainland.
