Vorbid

NORSK: Vorbid er et Thrash metal band fra Arendal som ble startet opp i oktober 2013 under navnet Purgatory av Michael Eriksen (Gitar/Vokal), Sondre Stokke (Bass) og Niklas Mæle Gjeisklid (Gitar) og etter en kort tid ble Marcus Gullovsen trommeslager for bandet. Navnet ble skiftet fort til Morbid Visions, men grunnet ukreativitet ble det endret til Vorbid. Etter debutkonserten til bandet og en UKM opptreden ble Niklas sparket fra bandet grunnet manglende ferdigheter, men ble fort erstattet av Daniel Emanuelsen (Lead Gitar) i mars 2014. August 2014 gikk det langsomt for bandet, og Sondre hadde andre interesser enn musikk, så han valgte å ikke lenger jobbe med Vorbid. I 2015, kom Vorbid helt til landsfinalen i UKM, vant talentkonkurransen til Rytmisk Fabrikk og i august samme år ble Johannes Torp fast bassist i bandet, men var ikke lenger et fast medlem i januar 2016. ENGLISH: Vorbid is a Thrash Metal band from Arendal and was established in October 2013 under the name Purgatory by Michael Eriksen (guitar / vocals), Sondre Stokke (bass) and Niklas Mæle Gjeisklid (guitar) and after a short time Marcus Gullovsen became the drummer for the band. The name was changed quickly to Morbid Visions, but due to uncreativity, they changed it to Vorbid. After their debut concert and one UKM performance, Niklas was fired from the band due to lack of skills, but was quickly replaced by Daniel Emanuelsen (Lead Guitar) in March 2014. In August 2014, it went slowly for the band, and Sondre had other interests than music and decided to no longer work with Vorbid. In 2015, Vorbid got all the way to the national final of UKM, won Rytmisk Fabrikks talent competition, and in August that year, Johannes Torp joined the band as bassist, but was no longer a member in January of 2016.
