Sheeza

SHEEZA is a 4-piece, all female, rock band. Beginning in 2012, partners Claire Tchoula and Courtney Tchoula broke out into Lafayette, Indiana's music scene as duo. In late 2015, Susan Wilson joined Sheeza on bass and electric cello. Chelsy Albertson joined Sheeza on drums in the summer of 2016. Sheeza delivers bluesy, soul-infused rock music. Their combination of rock, jazz, & country complements their resonant, original music and soulful harmonies featuring alto saxophone, electric cello, and incredible vocals. Sheeza performs original music as well as classic and popular favorites. These ladies have performed for countless venues, festivals, and charity events from Lafayette to Indianapolis, Chicago, and even down in Atlanta, GA, as well as opening for regional and national acts such as Travis Warren of Blind Melon, Neon Hitch, and recently En Vogue! Their name "Sheeza" is an intentional mis-spelling of the phrase "she's a" and pays homage to female empowerment and leadership.
