Recollections

Recollections is a five piece metal-hardcore band from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The band is driven to enhance the standard of music - fueled by passion, creativity and pure energy. Promised to be a performance you don't want to miss. The band formed in early 2013 with guitarist Christian Snow and vocalist Michael Cobin. In late 2013 they completed the line up with Derrick Downer joining on drums, Ty Furrer on guitar, and Travis Jackson on bass. January 2014 they released their debut single "Decisions, Incisions," featuring Ryan Kirby of Fit For A King. Later in February 2014, the band hooked up with Ohio based clothing company "Acathla" . In May 2014 Woodrow Hark replaced Derrick Downer on drums. "Decisions, Incisions" was later featured on their debut EP titled "Chapters" which was produced at Sound Barrier Studios in Monroeville, PA. In essence, each of the five songs is a chapter that commemorates different memories or experiences in each members life. The band debuted their first music video via "Chugcore" for the song "Defiler" May 6th of 2015. Performing shows since April of 2014, Recollections has played multiple venues all over Pennsylvania & Ohio. In September of 2014 the band was selected by Ernie Ball's Battle Of The Bands to play Rockstar's Uproar Festival. The band has shared the stage with some reputable groups such as: Kublai Khan, Traitors, Godsmack, Bodysnatcher, Sworn In, The Last Ten Seconds Of Life, Black Tongue, Animal, Knocked Loose, Sirens & Sailors, Yuth (Villains), Lionfight, Dealey Plaza, Lifeforms, Kingmaker, For All Those Sleeping, Capture The Crown, Ice Nine Kills, Palisades, Skillet, Lakota De Kai, Bungler, Motives, Icarus, Every Passing Dream, Burn it to the Ground (ex The Air I Breathe), Death of an Era, This is Home, Pop Evil, Left Behind, Delusions of Grandeur, Close to Home, Sycamour, My Enemies & I, and many more. Recollections keeps growing and pushing further after all they've accomplished in their early career. They are currently writing their first full length album. Be sure to keep your eyes on them.
