About Lost Zone
Lost Zone. An Alternative Rock band from a small alpine region in northern Italy.
While you might think their choice of name relates to their provenience it rather describes their relation to music itself. As lead singer and guitarist Florian reveals, music to him is a way to put aside problems and negativity and, as the name suggests, get lost in it.
He further mentions that while living outside scene-focused metropoles has its downsides, it allows to observe musical trends from a different perspective which helps develop a very own style unbiased from what other bands happen to create.
Therefore putting Lost Zone into a bracket is not an easy task as they include influences from Rock, Core but also Pop into their music. While their single „Blacked Out“ includes mean riffs and heavy beats, „Color Blind“ is a heartfelt ballad almost covering the musical spectrum in its entirety. Clean vocal melodies like in „No Regrets“ and distorted vocals like in „Leftovers“ display Florian’s versatile voice.
To the ones who wonder what Lost Zone sounds like, subtle similarities to Bring Me The Horizon, 30 Seconds To Mars and Linkin Park could be noticed. Florian states: „It’s impossible to fully hide our influences, but we do our very own thing“.
This is underlined by the fact that the Italian three-piece entirely writes, records and produces their music themselves.
A frequently asked question is how they play live with only three members. „We have a live-support guitarist that supports Florian and steps in when he can't or doesn't want to play the guitar while singing on stage“, explains Andre, "And we let backings do the rest".
Now, enough talking! Strap in, get going on the band's songs, turn up the volume and have a good flight towards the Lost Zone.
