About Such Luck
SUCH LUCK is a pop punk group hailing from the Kansas City, Missouri area. SUCH LUCK was formed by Ethan Campbell and Colt Coan after leaving their previous project. They began writing music in the fall of 2017, and decided to start looking for a vocalist to put lyrics to their instrumentals, and did so by putting out a Facebook video. Their first responder was also the most equipped in frontman Trey Juarez (ex For The Team). Lyle Simon (ex For The Team) and Cody Miller (Embrace This Day) were then added to form what many in the local scene are referring to as a “pop punk supergroup”.
The debut single of pop punk outfit SUCH LUCK has received praises from both music publications and fans alike. The single titled “Don’t Come Back” is only a glimpse into what the Kansas City natives have planned for their debut EP, titled “Probably Happy”, which releases in March of 2018. With both modern and traditional influences in their genres and ones surrounding, you can hear a sense of originality in such a familiar structure. Since then, the band has also released a cover of The Rembrandts’ infamous “I’ll Be There For You”, made popular by the TV show “Friends”.
In the fall of 2018, the band has since premiered their debut single, “Mess”, as well as a second single titled "Roots and Branches" from their upcoming EP "Patience is a Virtue". Both songs have since been picked up by Spotify’s official “New Punk Tracks” and "Pop Punk's Not Dead" playlists, among several others, causing the songs to be streamed in 30+ different countries.
SUCH LUCK has had the privilege to share the stage with bands such as STATE CHAMPS, Homesafe, Hot Mulligan, Jetty Bones, Keep Flying and many more. The band is ready to take the world by storm with more music and more shows across the country. We’re probably happy about it and we hope you are too.
