About Dub Natty Sessions
DUB NATTY SESSIONS was founded in “Caricuao”, a small ghetto southeast of Caracas, to revive the sound of Dub and spread the message of peace and love. It was the year 2009 and they were the first Reggae Dub band in Venezuela. In 2013, the band moved to London, where they recorded their first album with no one else than Dennis Bovell, Dub “Master” and creator of the Reggae movement in the UK. This first album was mixed and produced by Dennis Bovell, who also participated with the lyrics as a special guest. In 2015, Dub Natty Sessions was awarded by the “Pepsi Music Awards Venezuela” for BEST ALBUM (Dub Natty Sessions feat Dennis Bovell) and BEST SONG (Come again). This same year, the band was front line together with Dennis Bovell and Prince Hammer at the One Love Festival (Uk) for the second time consecutive. Right now, “DNS” is recording their new album with some of the biggest names in the Reggae scene. This time, Dennis Bovell is playing the bass, apart of producing. Together with Henry “buttons” Tenyue (trombone) and Patrick Tenyue (trumpet).Mad Professor mix this second album. Dub Natty Sessions is about GOOD MUSIC the RIGHT SOUND & LOVE VIBRATION
