About NO
[NOT CURRENTLY TOURING] - There may be other artists using the name 'No' but they are not us, we are the LA NO.
Los Angeles-based quintet NO formed in 2010 around singer Bradley Hanan Carter, a New Zealand native, and American bassist Sean Daniel Stentz. The two musicians found themselves bonding over personal turmoils from failed relationships as well as recognizing each other as kindred musical spirits. Over the coming year, they assembled a band of like-minded musicians and recorded their debut EP, Don't Worry, You'll Be Here Forever, a darkly comforting set of songs echoing acts like Bill Callahan and the National. Following the EP's 2011 release, NO spent the following year touring and writing material for their first LP. In 2013, they signed with Canadian tastemaking indie Arts & Crafts and recorded their first full-length album, El Prado, which was released in February 2014. ~ Timothy Monger, Rovi
