About Kwyet
Kwyet (pronounced 'quiet') are a Brighton band made out of Josh (bass/backing vocals), Molly (drums), and brothers Kay (vocals) and Liam (guitar/synth). Initially a DIY project, the band were fully formed in early 2018 with common goals to create memorable synth-fuelled alt-pop. They mix light melodies with rich, dreamy synths and the lyrics of someone who's read too much Plath.
Drawing inspiration from a wide range of artists such as Tame Impala, Joy Division, Frank Ocean, Kendrick Lamar and Red Hot Chilli Peppers, the combination of the foursome's differing influences creates the dark and catchy world of Kwyet.
