LP Trixie

LP Trixie is a Chicago-based alternative rock band blending sharp post-punk energy with cinematic modern rock textures. Fronted by vocalist Amelia Thompson and guitarist/songwriter James Brennan, the band emerged from the Chicago live scene in 2022 and evolved into LP Trixie with a more focused sound and identity.
Driven by angular guitars, hypnotic rhythms, soaring vocals, and hook-heavy songwriting, LP Trixie creates music that balances atmosphere with urgency — songs that feel equally suited for late-night city drives and packed club stages. Their sound pulls from the spirit of alternative and post-punk revival acts while maintaining a style that feels distinctly their own.
The band has built a growing reputation through energetic live performances across Chicago, including appearances at venues like Subterranean, Liars Club, and Underground Lounge. Their live shows combine intensity, melody, and raw emotional momentum, turning every set into an immersive experience.
Following the release of singles including “Fly on the Wall,” “Lowfiving,” and “Foolish Again,” LP Trixie continues to build momentum with new music, videos, and shows planned throughout 2026.
