araPacis

AraPacis (Ara-Patches) is a female-fronted metal band hailing from Montreal, Canada. Formed in 2003 by guitarist Jerry Fielden, fronted by Scots singer Michelle Macpherson, and driven by both the superlative keyboards of ex-Rainbow man David Stone and his protégé Gillan Macpherson-Briggs, their main goal is to re-create some of the original aspects of 1970's Hard Rock and Progressive Rock and fuse it together with 21st Century Prog Metal, Doom Metal & Metalcore to make an interesting metal hybrid. AraPacis have shared the stage with acts such as Blaze Bayley, Uli Jon Roth, Anvil, Raven, the Agonist, Doro, etc. They have released 9 albums and 3 EPS: Their 8th full-length CD, "Waterdog" was released in 2021 a on Blackhouse Records and Bullseye Records of Canada Inc., and so has their 9th full-length called "Suburban Mist" in 2022. They are now working on their tenth full-length.
