About Harpers

Harpers is busted onto the Intermountain West scene with their new self-titled EP that “tips its hat to folk and rock and roll while boldly embracing new age indie.” (-Upstate Live). Despite being hearing-impaired as a child, frontman Jacob Beck learned to play guitar and sing in the close-knit folk circles of Upstate New York. At 17 he began playing for small crowds in an abandoned laundromat and gradually gained traction in the northeastern music scene. After two national tours, a Tedx talk, and a batch of new songs, Jacob moved to Provo and started Harpers with Brandon Burton (drums) and Chris Riding (guitar and piano).
