About The Good Fortune

Ever experienced a “WOW” moment before? You know, when you hear something for the first time and you instantly feel a connection to it? No matter how many times you listen to it you keep finding yourself being drawn back? Well if you haven’t, you’re about to. The Good Fortune is the band that will slowly take over your subconscious for the next few weeks. The group hailing from Sacramento, CA is comprised of Jeremiah Tsering, Mark Johnston, Phillip Moskalets, and Mark Tuzman. Not much else is known about these guys except for the obvious fact that they’ve created something worthy of attention. “Overdose” is the band’s first single and although you can hear traces of Glass Animals mixed with a bit of Kygo, they’ve created a sound all their own. The combination of delicate lyrics and hazy vocals blended with weightless synths gives the song a dreamlike feeling. It almost seems as if you are floating through evening fog when listening to it. I swear this song is magic. Be sure to throw The Good Fortune a “Like” on Facebook. Trust me when I say you’ll want to stay up-to-date with what this group is doing. And stop by their SoundCloud to check out their second single “Feel It”. It’s just as addicting as “Overdose”, but with hints of Flume instead. So click play and enjoy getting lost in the sound.
