Alex Koford

Mentored by Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame bassist Phil Lesh of the Grateful Dead, Alex Koford has
played both drums and guitar, as well as provided vocals for Phil Lesh & Communion, Phil Lesh
& Friends, and Phil Lesh & the Terrapin Family Band. Over the last decade Alex has grown into
a well rounded addition to any project he is involved with, but his true passion lives with
reaching audiences through his own music. His unique style comes from his diverse love of
musical genres ranging from Pop to Psychedelic Americana, but the influence Phil Lesh and the Grateful Dead has left on him will always be a part of his musical DNA.
