Bad Tooth

Bad Tooth plays loud, fast, smooth, filthy blues. Forming in late 2014 by Tom Lord (drums) and Benjamin Crofts (guitar and vocals), Bad Tooth have made a distinct effort to carve out their own niche in a scene where originality and innovation are hard to come by. Individually, the musicianship of Bad Tooth’s members is impressive. After playing Brighton Up Bar in 2016, one reviewer remarked “[Bad Tooth] lets you hear every single part, every hi-hat struck, every note sung, every string plucked. Not that they’re quiet – this is, at its best, Jon Spencer territory, all bluesy and raucous and threatening to drive into a lamp-post. But holy moley, they can both *play*, and the limited-band member setup lets you hear every damn note. Fun, both of the precise and raucous kind, and not a little impressive.” Bad Tooth has been known to get even the most cynical hipsters toe-tapping on the dance-floor with their infectious brand of alternative blues.
