Dear Rouge

Dear Rouge left it all on the stage: emotional, bombastic, and full their intoxicating hooks and grooves. We left marvelling that an experience like that can be brokered for less than $50.

What an incredible show! Thanks for coming to Nanaimo and rocking the house with a great mix on new and old songs!! Always a fantastic show and not one that anyone should miss!

I love the venue! The Crowd was awesome! We came for Hotel Mira and loved their set so much! Dear Rouge was great too, they have a new fan in me for sure!

Class Act! 100%. Dear Rouge is a real dream on stage. Their music takes on a presence that comes alive. What a show! Great performance and terrible venue.

Hotel Mira opened and as usual, the sound quality was garbage for the opening act. First time listening to them and I thought they had good energy and the front man was really engaging with the audience. Dear Rouge came on and sound was night and day. The problem with dear Rouge was the over-the-top vocal effects and backing tracks. It was quite hard to determine where the backing tracks ended and the musicianship began. Danielle sounded very robotic. There was a point where she accidentally disconnected her mic and the backing vocal track was so loud and prominent. It felt like with all the modulation, anyone could have gone up and it would have sounded pretty much the same. I understand the need for putting effects on each track to enhance the sound but I would have preferred a more raw and organic performance. Even if it came at the expense or risk of potentially not sounding exactly like the album.

These guys are amazing every time I have seen them. What a fantastic intimate show to start the Spirit Tour!!🤟🤟🤟🤟

An amazing show, totally high energy, great performance and really connected with the crowd. Amazing tunes of course and and a tight band. Plan to see them again!

Best live show I've seen in a VERY long time...and not just because of the pandemic. The new album SPIRIT is their best yet!! High energy, amazing vocals, kickass bassist. I wish I could go back in time and experience this performance all over again. So special to see them in such an intimate venue!

Such an incredible band, super-nice and down to earth, very engaging live with a great community around them. SEE THEM! You won’t be sorry.

If you haven't watched a show at the Sanctuary, I would recommend it. The intimacy is unparalleled. No light show, no gimics, just you and the band. Dear Rouge was excellent tonight. Danielle's energy shone and both the crowd and the band fed off that energy for a fun and interactive show. Hope they return to the Sanctuary again!

Really enjoyed the show tonight... First visit to the RH Centre for Performing Arts... Nice little venue... The band were great, especially Daniele, she has major star power on stage! They remind me allot of Metric, and that's a high compliment, as Metric are a superb Canadian band! Thank you Dear Rouge for a great night!

All the bands played their part in getting the evening going. Dear Rouge never fail in bringing the best out of the crowd and proving they are a top act, look forward to their next visit to Edmonton.

Really enjoyed both opening bands!...such good quality music & energy from them!...I found 2 new bands I like. Dear rouge was unreal! Love their stage presence & quick little talks between sets....their music had us rockin hard, such an awesome band!! Wish them all the very best on this long tour. Thanks for stopping near us!

As usual, the band was amazing. Great song selection, stage looked cool. Sound was good and it was easy to access the facility. My only problem was that the venue doesn’t really have that many washrooms so lines were a bit long.

One of the best shows I’ve seen so far this year! Can’t wait to see them again!

The show was great. Danielle and Drew are fantastic songwriters. They put on a great show. I hope to see them again.
