About All Mighty Senators
A Baltimore based band whose first 7" emerged in 1988 on the Merkin imprint and continues to this day with "Checkered Past, New Tomorrow: Essential AMS" on Severn available via iTunes.
"By linking bits of funk, metal, R&B, blues boogie, acoustic instrumentation, and even Frank Zappa-isms, All Mighty Senators toss out a sassy, temperamental musical whole that is nothing short of beguiling." -Billboard
They've maintained a funky rock & soul sound consisting of a horn thingy, perhaps as many as four drummers and a robot. They have been known to sacrifice live virgins on stage to their dark master. They mostly play in Baltimore and Annapolis MD, but their home is a planet very far away and populated by hyper intelligent chimpanzee... wait the statue of liberty? IT WAS EARTH ! YOU DAMNED FOOLS BLEW IT ALL UP!!
