Amazing show, as expected based on other performances by Erik and his amazing band I've seen. The set list was broad, covering his early songs through recent songs. The drummer was from Louisiana - a great percussionist. Paul Bergen was great as always. Everyone shined. The story-telling of Erik's songs hits the sweet spot of getting to the nitty gritty about life, without losing touch with the poetic beauty of all the madness. If you can, catch this Minnesota / Michigan Finnish-American legend. -Todd Ojala

We in Mankato, MN are very lucky to have an incredible champion of all things music. His name is Dale Haefner and he is instrumental (no pun intended) in bringing artists like Eric Koskinen, Cactus Blossoms, and many others to our town. The venue, Hooligans, is a bar/restaurant that has good acoustics, cold beer, and wonderful food.

Eric and his band sounded great, both the old and new songs. Lots of energy and the collaboration with Martha Scanlon and Jon Neufeld was wonderful. Excellent show!
