Operation: Mindcrime

Geoff sounds great, and we loved hearing the entire Mindcrime set live.

Bought tix last minute. I thought Geoff was doing a greatest hits show like he did through February in Europe. Surprisingly to me, he did Mincrime in it's entirety. Haven't seen that since the original tour back in the day. Geoff sounded EXCELLENT! Alot of Tate haters out there that I'd like to tell he hasn't lost much of his range. He was having a great time with the band and crowd. His daughter played Mary on Suite Sister Mary and that girl has some pipes! Due to this show I'm digging into Tate's solo material.

A Great night and a great singer who has co written some truly brilliant music! Geoff performed like he was playing to a much bigger audience with plenty of enthusiasm and energy for a guy getting on in years. The only downside was that the sound mix was poor for the first 4 or 5 songs. I hope this will not be the last time Geoff comes to Newcastle Thanks for a great night 🤘
