With the debut of their self-titled album, They’ll Have Dreams has begun their search for freedom from the past and hope for the future – and it is hard to refuse them. Drawing on the likes of Coldplay, The Police, Peter Gabriel, Jeff Beck, Eric Johnson and U2, They’ll Have Dreams is reimagining what a musical duo can be. The music and lyrics of this album hearken back to the concept albums of Pink Floyd and early Genesis while staying focused on songwriting. The album goes through enormous emotional, lyrical and musical changes without losing a cohesive sound. It faces the darkness, uncertainty, and fear of real life yet still finds hope for the future. They’ll Have Dreams recreates their album in all of its complexity without using any pre-recorded material, giving them the sound and power of a five to ten piece band.
