About M. Crane
M. Crane is an alternative indie rock group based in Tucson, Arizona, formed in 2015 by Nick Maskill. The band consists of Maskill, singer and songwriter, whose voice has been compared to those of Jeff Buckley, Matt Bellamy of Muse and Cedric Bixler-Zavala of The Mars Volta; Kyle Rosas, lead guitarist and songwriter, whose guitar delivery has been compared to Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead and Johnny Marr of The Smiths; Andrew Lobo, bassist; and Gabriela Lisk, drummer. The group has undergone drastic stylistic changes since its inception due to personnel changes and differences in artistic taste, but hasn't quite been able to shake its inclination to making darkly colored music with lyrics that are honest about the pain that prompts them yet obsessed with the beauty that coexists with the pain. The band's current lineup is working on its debut release.
