Hotel War is not a revisionist group, not a cover band, and does not think rock 'n' roll needs anyone's help to stay alive. Hotel War is an original rock 'n' roll group whose fiery brand of songs are adventurous, hard hitting, and performed in concert with wild abandon and old-school cool; as evidenced on their new EP Nashville Nights. Recorded in three days in Nashville and mastered by Grammy winning engineer Brian Lucey (Black Keys, Arctic Monkeys, and many more), Nashville Nights is the follow up to their 2012 self released record Rebels Out of Time. It let's you sit shotgun for a boozy ride home from a wild night, crashing through walls of sound, punk and blues, only pumping its breaks to reach for a lighter as the psychedelics from the evening begin to take their toll. Nashville Nights is the product of moving states away, in the eye of a midnight storm, to live in a tiny house next to the East Nashville train tracks (and that ain't no lie). Nashville Nights is the product of 4 brothers keeping each other up all night with unfettered debauchery, playing and writing at all hours in a dank basement littered with last week's bender. Nashville Nights is the product of taking the show on the road for weeks on end, sleeping on floors, and living out stories you'd never want your kids to know.
