About Suffer No Fools
Formed in Ealing in 2015 and comprised of Ali Khan on guitar and vocals, Jamie Newdeck on Guitar, Alex Bain on Bass, and Mike Taylor on drums. The band set out to combine the best of their influences in order to create something contemporary that also harked back to the last few decades of metal. This led to a band that had the speed and melody of Metallica, the groove of Rammstein and the crushing edge of Killswitch Engage.
Within a relatively short space of time after forming, Suffer No Fools went on to unleash their seminal EP 'Songs For The Restless Youth' unto the world.
"Melodic yet powerful they are sure to please any rock fan. Vocally supreme, Lyrically superb and the music is a fusion of pure awesomeness." - Rock Bandom
"Metallica fan? Then you’ll love Suffer No Fools. Dual guitar harmonies, breakneck drums, crushing riffs, and vocals that reminds you of a young James Hetfield. Have a listen and try not to break too many things" - Stoked Sound
"Suffer No Fools can do something that can blow our fucking minds and help sculpt our playlists and CD collections." - Head-Banger Reviews
"It was my first time seeing them perform, but I'm certain it won't be my last, because armed with an incredible first album and an appreciation for working hard, they're going to take the music world by storm" - Underock
"This record has hit me like a storm! Wow, for sure a real pure thrash album but also not just one of the many." - Heavy Metal Underdogs
"From front to back Songs For The Restless Youth is a real uncompromising effort. There are no frills and no gimmicks, it’s all about huge drums and monster riffs."
- The Musical Outcast
"The British metallers are merely months into their emergence after forming earlier this year but offer a sizeable introduction and potential loaded first collection of fiery, groove lined incitements suggesting there is experience in the ranks of their creators." - The RingMaster Review
"A thrilling first effort from a band you’re surely going to hear from in the future." - Metal Temple
"9/10. I can tell that these guys have really thought about the music they are creating. They must have spent a while on this album. Definitely recommend everyone to get this record and go check them out live!"- Smash Mouth Metal
"A thrilling first effort from a band you’re surely going to hear from in the future." - Metal Temple
“…you're in for some catchy and heavy songs that display both an innate talent and a social consciousness” - Happy Headbanger
“Then we get a six-minute piece of music. Beautiful. The Bombing Campaign is supported by a drum salvo. We hear a trashy guitar and rusty vocals. A very nice song.” - Peek-a-boo-magazine
"This band knows what they’re about – they have their own sound which they deliver on Songs For The Restless Youth. Their sound is reminiscent of some of the best Metal and Thrash acts of the 80s and 90s without being a rip off or copycat." - Heavyinherts.co.uk
