About Kerosene Stars.
Kerosene Stars is an American power-pop/rock band originally formed in Chicago, IL. The band is composed of Scott Schaafsma (bass, vocals), Andy Seagram (guitar, backing vocals), Joshua Rogers (drums), and Tom Sorich (percussion).
In 2023, with Scott now based in Houston, there’s now has a Southern version of the band with Mitch Harris on guitar, and Martin Hristov on drums. Look for the new Kerosene Stars lineup around Texas, but also be on the lookout for the still active original version of KS in the Midwest and beyond.
In Spring 2024 KS makes their debut at the International Pop Overthrow Festival (IPO) in the UK with two scheduled appearances at the world-renowned Cavern Club (home of The Beatles) in Liverpool.
