David Reed Watson

David Reed Watson is a Las‐Vegas based vocalist who fuses classic metal power with a modern hard‐rock edge. He cut his teeth in the early 1990s singing across Massachusetts clubs before moving west to join the Los Angeles scene. His first major‐label break came with The Constant; the band’s two albums were mastered at Capitol Records by Robert Vosgien and helped establish his operatic tenor and dynamic stage presence. Watson’s voice reached international audiences when he co‐wrote and sang on Dreamworld by Rage of Angels, produced by Kane Roberts (Alice Cooper). His song “With the Beating of Your Heart” appeared on the U.K., Russian and Japanese releases, featuring guitarist Tommy Denander.

Not content to be a hired voice, Watson co‑founded Electric Messiah. Recorded at Desert Moon Studios with Oz Fox (Stryper) and Michael T. Ross (Lita Ford, Missing Persons) and produced by Pat Fontaine (XYZ), their self‑titled album showcases his ability to blend gritty riffs with melodic hooks. He then teamed with Kill Ritual, writing and singing on two albums (Karma Machine and All Men Shall Fall) mixed and mastered by Andy LaRocque of King Diamond. Tours across Europe and North America alongside Hirax, Raven, Sanctuary and Iced Earth cemented his reputation as a road‑tested frontman.

Watson has fronted A Rising Force, recording the band’s second album Eclipse at Winterland Studios. The record, mixed and mastered at Brian Bart’s Logic Studios and released on Dark Star Records (Universal/Sony), yielded the single and video “Believe.” Today he leads Alchemy Fire, a heavy‑rock project with Tom Schofield (Soil), Paul Wright (Exocet) and Wayne Dorman (Onslaught). Their self-titled album, mixed by Ulrich Wild and mastered by Alex Psaroudakis, pairs soaring vocals with modern metal production; the title track and video can be heard on their website.

Beyond music, Watson’s life is shaped by service and spirituality. A former U.S. Marine (1981–86) and Reiki master, he credits his discipline and energy work for the resilience that fuels his performances. Having toured throughout Europe, the United States and Canada, he now calls Las Vegas home. Through his music and presence he aims to inspire listeners to find strength in their own stories and to live with passion and purpose.
