About Seth Loveless

Drawing from shared influences such as Led Zeppelin, Foo Fighters and Rush, but also their individual influences, has resulted in a melting pot of genres and styles that have molded together to form the bands’ signature sound. From a young age, Seth Loveless has known that he wanted to be a musician. Singing Aerosmith and AC/DC, Seth started learning guitar in his early teens and truly found his instrument. Initially influenced by Johnny Cash and more traditional players, Seth was later introduced to Chet Atkins and instantly became mesmerized by his finger-style guitar playing. Seth has spent countless hours honing his craft as a guitarist and vocalist resulting in almost impossible precision and flair when finger-picking and strong, gritty vocals reminiscent of Joe Cocker and John Fogerty. Forest Towers (Bassist) and Seth Loveless have been friends since kindergarten and started playing music together when they were fourteen. Growing up only a mile apart from one another, Forest started learning guitar shortly after Seth but found the instrument wasn’t fulfilling him in the way he’d hoped it would. Not long after, Forest picked up a bass guitar and began listening to Iron Maiden and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, fuelling his fascination and cementing his passion for being a bass player. Throughout High School, Forest played in numerous bands of varying genres, ranging from heavy metal to funk. This diversity has enabled him to develop his own style, allowing him to imprint his signature bass licks onto any songs he plays. The launch of Seth’s professional music career was marked by the recording of their debut EP at Tal Bergman Studios in Los Angeles, CA. The project was produced by award-winning film director, musician and music producer, Martin Guigui (Billy Gibbons, Steve Earle) and featured performances from guitarist, Eric Johnson and drummer, Kenny Aronoff. Having cut his teeth playing at local bars and venues in Arizona, Seth were looking to spread his wings and managed to land gigs in Austin, TX during the world-renowned South by Southwest Festival. Seth cites travelling to Austin for the festival as a turning point in his careers as it was his first time experiencing the “real music scene” and he realized how many other bands were chasing the same dream. However, this realization only fuelled the fire and upon returning home, he hunkered down rehearsing, songwriting and performing as much as he could. A strong supporters of giving back to his community, his band were honored to be asked to perform charity concerts for Central Arizona Shelter Services, benefitting the homeless, in addition to the Tumbleweed Center for Youth Development. In life there is a belief that everything happens for a reason and that is certainly true for the next phase of Seth’s music career. In the summer of 2014, Seth performed at festivals and many venues across the United States. Following this, he toured the United Kingdom in September 2015, Seth toured Europe, including the UK, Italy & Switzerland. They played to sold-out audiences across the UK, building a strong fan base across the pond and testing the waters as touring musicians. The future is looking incredibly bright for the Arizona-based musician who are currently writing material for his second album Seth and his band are on an upward climb and nobody can stop them! Seth Loveless is a rock guitarist and songwriter influenced by Led Zeppelin, Chet Atkins, Foo Fighters, Pink Floyd, The Who, Johnny Cash, Rush, RHCP, and many more.
