Fortune Favors The Brave

Established in early 2014, Fortune Favors the Brave was created by Justin George (Lead Guitarist) and Tanner Guimond (Frontman/Vocalist), who were former members of Solanum, a local New England hardcore/metal band based out of Providence, RI. Beginning their search to attain what they had imagined to be, their “Perfect Sound”, they found FFTB’s drummer, Dylan Robertson. Dylan is the drummer for Murdoc, a popular RI death-core band. The three of them instantly became in tune with one another and understood what sound they were all going for. From that point on, the three members of FFTB began to write what they would consider technical riffs, glassy leads, ear shattering vocals, and a different element to add “theatrics” very few metal bands have. The goals overall with this project include reaching out to others to create a bond of family and friends who all love and enjoy this type of music, while being able to play and do what they all love to do - which is being on stage and entertaining the masses. The guys in FFTB are here to bring you music you want to hear, while playing what we want to hear as well. As they say, fortune favors those who are brave enough and those that are willing to fight for their dreams. Music that will help you discover yourself, over come life challenges and create a bond amongst listeners.
