Chad Kowal

Chad Kowal is a lifelong creative visionary whose eponymous solo singer/songwriter project emerged from a series of demos created during a multi-year stint writing songs for major DJs like KAAZE and Thomas Gold many reaching 1m+ streams. An established live musician in his own right, Chad had already built a reputation while spending over a decade touring globally with his former band Farewell, My Love, before taking the leap in 2022 to focus solely on making a debut as his own artist with a one-of-a-kind musical concept.

Chad’s main influences are twofold — a broad range of artists and his inner child. Musically, his catchy releases are firmly rooted in the alt-pop world, yet with a genre-bending, never-boring interpretation of ‘alternative’ that sees him weave together ideas from My Chemical Romance and Lil Wayne to Skrillex and Justin Bieber and pass them through his own unique lens. Conceptually, Chad channels his ever-flourishing inner child’s love of world-building and storytelling into a fully immersive journey for his diverse and growing fanbase — a childhood fever dream packed with authentic and relatable 90s nostalgia, interspersed with a cast of characters he’s imagined into existence over time.

ALT POP, his upcoming EP, was produced in collaboration with Joey Bradford of platinum-selling emo band The Used, an influence of his for almost 20 years. A slew of further releases, videos, and live shows are in the works — all of which will be announced in due time.
