About Take Us To Tomorrow

Angelo Loa, guitarist/main song-writer, started the Majestic 12 in 2007 with Brad Day, drummer. Various musicians were in and out of the band in the first two years – some notables are: Dominque Marquez on vocals and Justin (DeX) Lopez on bass. In 2009 the band went back to the two founding members and Jon Martin joined as the keyboardist and then played guitar and wrote songs. Sean O’Leary joined later as the bassist followed by Joshua Torres on vocals. There was the birth of Makeshift Patriot in 2011. By January 10th of 2012, Makeshift would play their last show; one of which JT was sick, and not present, and where Sean attempted some vocal parts. Around that time Angelo, Brad and Sean were planning to make Incandescent Reverie, a downsized version of Makeshift with an expiration date. Angelo moved to Houston and Sean to Florida. This was not the end though, so by December of 2013, they moved back to Austin. Then, on May 27th, 2014, they played their first show as Take Us To Tomorrow. This sounds like the reason to continue
