About Aerreo

To new kid on the block, the rising talent of Aerreo, nothing lures like the deep nights and hot adventures of clubbing. A call he cannot resist, and to which he so passionately adapted his life. Moving from his majestic homeland of India to the European Mecca of dance, the city of London, to pursuit his dream, is but one of many things that shows his persistence. All that, caused by an on-going love for this thing called house music.

At the age of 13, a young but curious Nikhil Mehta found himself enraptured by that addictive beat. Fascinated by its power, it wouldn’t be long until Nikhil himself would deliver a quality mix and production. Throughout the years, he’d adopt the skills needed to take things to a professional level, and eventually choose to do so. After finishing his Bachelor in Business and taking on a job at a bank, he was drawn to the music even more. Playing two residencies at night, and wearing the business suit at day, he had a hard time finding the right balance. Pursuing his Masters degree, but with the night lights luring and the sounds filling his mind, Nikhil had no choice but to go for music fulltime. And that devotion was rewarded.

Having mastered the fine art of DJ’ing and taking in the practice needed to please the maddening crowds at his residencies, he was ready to take on the next challenge. He entered the DJ competition of Asia’s biggest dance music happening – Sunburn Festival. Not once, but twice would he win them, beating a 425 DJ’s in the first and more than 500 in the second, crushing countless of young Asian DJ talents all across India. It earned him two gigs at Sunburn, playing alongside the likes of Showtek, Fedde le Grand, Ørjan Nilsen, Wolfpack, Paul van Dyk, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Ummet Ozcan, Axwell and many more.

The borders of India didn’t stretch far enough though, and this bit of foreplay sure tasted like more. His eyes were set on London, the perfect spot to make his next move. In only two months of moving to UK’s clubbing capital, Nikhil – who had begun to profile himself as Aerreo – had already landed a gig at the renowned Ministry of Sound, playing a sold-out Armada Night with DJ’s Andy Moor, Tenishia and singer Emma Hewitt, Which was followed by another massive gig for Anjunabeats label night along with Super8 & Tab, Jaytech & DJ Orkidea. Rocking the crowds with a distinctive sound that travels all across the spectrum of house music – from the deeper edges and the progressive side to meeting all big-room needs, Aerreo has become a name that’s started to build.

No longer a rookie to the game, this driven young man has fully dedicated himself to music, locking himself up in his studio to bring his own sounds and rock the planet.
And well, you know what they say…once you’ve had a taste of it, there’s no turning back. To Aerreo, it’s full-on.
With many more club adventures to come, and lots more Aerreo records to dance to, it’s time to keep an eye out for this driven, young talent who tells us the story of dedication, hard work and an infinite passion for music.
