Alt 101 is the greatest 90's alternative rock tribute band in the Chicagoland area! They passionately recreate the best songs of that decade that we all love and grew up listening to. Their concerts usually turn into a big rock and roll singalong as the crowd participates in a trip down 1990's alternative rock memory lane. Formed in the summer of 2013, Alt 101 quickly realized that in a world saturated with cover bands playing the same tired set lists, there was a huge demand and a NEED for this music to be brought back to the stage. Founded by skilled musicians who put every ounce of love and energy they have into the hit songs we all love from Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, REM, Alice In Chains, Sublime, Tom Petty, Stone Temple Pilots, Oasis, Weezer... the list goes on and on and on. The band connects these monster alt rock hits into a non-stop party that is perfect entertainment for bars, clubs, festivals, private/corporate events and more!
