Old Jack Tap

Old Jack Tap was formed in the spring of 2014 and very quickly began composing original material through all of the members’ best efforts. With a desire to break into the music scene, they began writing songs that had a familiar blues and southern rock sound with a new, refreshing modern rock and pop fusion. Their debut album was released in December 2017 with a number of local Edmonton musicians contributing to the recording process. Old Jack Tap brings together a true recalibration of classic blues, solidified with thunderous rhythms carefully aligned with catchy riffs, soaring slide leads, organic soloing, and powerful vocals. Old Jack Tap brings a new light to the southern rock sound with a modern rock and pop fusion.
