Susan Ruth

As an artist, Susan released two critically acclaimed albums, How To Say Goodbye and Surfacing to Breathe (which features many of Peter Gabriel’s key band mates) following her debut album, the Horse of a Different Color EP. She served on the Board of Governors for the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences as a Performing Songwriter and in 2006, moved to Nashville, TN. Here, she continues to write in Pop, Country, Rock, AAA and Euro Dance Genres for artists, film and television. She’s had cuts with Derin Togar, Hannah Grey Ellis, Ali Isabella and Nicole Henry, to name a few, and currently writes with many of Nashville’s top hit makers. Susan’s songs have featured on MTV Road Rules and independent films. She has also won several awards nationally, including Album of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year in the Seattle Area Music awards and Album of the Year in the LA XM Radio DIY awards. FEMMUSIC.com also named her Artist of the Year and she was a finalist in the USA Songwriting Competition, as well as CMT/NSAI Song contest.
