Brand New

Could barely see the band most of the time due to both poor lighting and also an obstructive fence-like lighting structure in front of the band. Setlist could have included more classics. There was no encore, which was very disappointing and left the crowd lingering for a long time in disbelief.

So happy to hear the new songs live, they sounded fantastic. The screen they used was cool, but the timing of when it was raised and lowered was a little odd. Hope a second run of dates gets announced.

apparently i was not as big a fan as everyone else. i didnt much care for the crowd (no fault to the band obviously). Most everyone know all the words to all their songs so it made it a little difficult to understand and enjoy. I was expecting more energy from the crowd, though it was extremely packed in the pit (which i recommend at the Roy). i thought Mobo & Front Bottoms had amazing performances, the immediate crowd around me did not, quite the bummer tbh. it was a very gloomy concert, as they performed Devil & God Raging. i knew this, as did everyone else. Pretty grand performance all around, just make sure to get there AT LEAST an hour early to avoid all of the angsty depressing fans who dont appear to have any fun, and to get a good spot with their hardcore, more-lively fans. Sick venue too, few balcony seating (relatively speaking), and Huge pit, with open concessions under balcony for those who want to sit back and drink overpriced beer in peace.

an amazing show with one of the greatest groups I have ever seen. the venue was solid, everything was going beautifully until me and my girlfriend got puked on. besides that part everything going was sick.

it has been a long time since I have been to a show where everyone was just singing and enjoying being in the moment like this was. this was awesome and they played every song you would want to hear them play

They rocked! Better than I would ever thought. Their passion for the music and talent was refreshing. I truly believe that i am their oldest fan, but their music makes me feel young. I look forward to seeing them again next year. But please tell them to headline! Modest Mouse sucked, I wanted to hear more Brand New! I was in the 2nd row next to the stage, and it was totally worth the money!

I loved seeing them because I love their music, and the energy was great, but they honestly weren't the best performers. I love Brand New endlessly but they didn't get very into the music on stage (other than the guitarist), and didn't talk to the crowd much. Was still a great concert, just could have been better

I wish they would of not skipped so many great songs! I loved his voice and his screaming! Boy who missed his own shot kick me in my feels! I loved the stage ae venue! I wish it wasn't 3:50 for a dang water though! I feel you need to spray more water! But all in all I go back a 1000 times!

Energetic show, Jesse's voice was a little deeper than when we saw them at the Red Hat Amphitheater in North Carolina last year, and the mixing was a little more muddled (the instruments were less distinguishable), but they did a long enough opening set for Modest Mouse and improvised a bit, so overall a great show.

Went just for brand new and I just wished they would of played a couple of different songs such as quiet things that no one ever knows and seventy times seven. great show all the same!

the show itself was good. they played a good variety of songs. the venues employees were awesome. they checked on us, made sure we were ok in the heat. i waited all day. i was 8th in line. the employees of cota let everyone bum rush as we were being let in. completely not fair. and the fans.. yall suck. i was pinched, pushed, shoved. had my hair pulled., all because i was front row. ive been to metal shows where the fans are so better behaved. yall need to get a grip. jesse doesnt give a shit about you so stop screaming how you love him in my ear. the stage setup sucked. you had 100 ft of stage and only used the middle. for 69 bucks. it wasnt worth it. ill never go to another show there. i love brand new but not that much. the merch was 30 bucks. get for real.

Brand New came to town earlier this year, and they were great. This time, their set was primarily songs from "Daisy", there was a lot of progressive elements that ended up taking away from the set itself and almost dragged on. They ended great and Jesse appeared to be having a great time, so all in all they played well.

They were the best i wish it never ended! I loved the atmosphere between the bands and the audience, so much respect and love towards the bands, they gave their heart and soul to every song!

Been to probably upwards of 100 concerts in my days and this was the BEST SHOW I HAVE EVER SEEN. I had no ideas these guys were that good live. Dual drummers were just insane and their guitar player is out of his mind. And the capacity crowd knew every word to every song! If this band doesn't release a new CD soon people are going to explode. I really hope to see them again, it's a show I'll never forget!

They were amazing and special at the same time! My son loved them when the were just starting as a group, and he had gotten his little sister ti listen as the band got new. My son was killed in his senior year of college, and there is a nine year difference between her and her brother. His death devastated us. So, it was a amazing timing they came on tour this year, for October 18 was my daughter and his sister's 18th Birthday! This concert was soo special for her dad, her, and I to see this amazing band on her Birthday was a few tears of remembering her brother and our son! The last song was not played at any of the other concerts about" beinging 18 forever" was played at her brother and our son's funeral! So, please thank them from a family, that lost a my daughters brother and our son in the hands of a faternity brother with a major cover up! Thank you Brand New! It would be amazing to have the members to send her a message to keep moving on in college and words of encouragement PLEASE! I was following this your on setlist.fm and for the Austin show they didn't play "Logan to Government Center" which is a personal favorite. Also, they said last night, "We would play one more song but they're making us leave!" And according to the setlist that song would have either been "Soco Amaretto Lime" or "Play Crack the Sky" so that was disappointing. Essentially I felt cheated two songs and there was too much material off of "Daisy" for my taste. They did a great job though so I suppose my complaints are with the setlist Austin got dealt.

IF I COULD RATE 18 STARS I WOULD. THEY PLAYED SOCO. IT WAS ONE OF THE MOST EMOTIONAL NIGHTS OF MY LIFE. A YOUNG GIRL HIT ME IN THE FACE DURING A MOSH PIT. IT WAS WILD. 11/10 MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMEND.

such a GREAT balance of songs such an intimate relationship between band and fans! full of emotion and energy! great set great performance! the staff at venue was extremely rude! but brand new was awesome! happy birthday jesse

Rating it high cos Brand New were incredible and played enough of their hits for everybody. Wasn't big on the supporting acts though and the merch sucks.. but that's all petty stuff tbh. Deffo a band to see live.
