Band where incredible! Only problem was the venue, they don’t have an accessible area so even though i was front of the queue and had waited there since 10:30am i didn’t get barricade. Please fix this. This is the second time this has happened to me at a lovejoy gig. It can’t be that hard to have a accessible area instead of just letting the people who only just showed up take the entire barrier 😫

Actually so good some nice girl gave me an are you alright? Bracelet! I think I was the youngest fan there! And I know like all the lyrics I was calling out “WILLL!! WILL!” I think he looked at me I don’t know but I called out “JOEEEE!” A bit cause I was closer to him then will and it was so fun for my first concert!! thank you Lovejoy! P.s I support you will<3 you don’t deserve that hate <3.

This was my first ever concert i have been to and it was absolutely incredible!!! I sadly missed out on hearing Loupe perform as i was busy getting merch but hearing Good Kid and of course Lovejoy was the bet experience ever! I was located near the back but i still had a good view of the stage and the music playing was powerful and i’d do anything to hear them live again :D
Thank you Lovejoy for making my life so much better <3

First time seeing Lovejoy live! We were not prepared for how many would show up early to line up for entry. We arrived around 1pm and were about #200 in line by that time. By the end of the day, the line stretched around the whole block! Lovejoy is worth the wait and enjoyed getting to know so many great people throughout the day. The Riverside venue was massive and Lovejoy packed the house! Originally, they were slated to play a smaller stage owned by the same venue but after high demand and fast ticket sales, were quickly moved to the biggest stage! The show was AMAZING!!!!

This was my first Lovejoy concert, and when I saw them on the interview screen, I literally started to bawl my eyes out and my body was shaking so bad. Wilbur and Lovejoy's music had practically saved my life, so seeing them in person was absolutely surreal to me. I made so many new friends, and one I STILL talk to since that day. I just can't believe that I was there. Seeing Lovejoy is SO worth it. They played all my favorite songs, and I was just SOBBING through each one.

For all the Lovejoy fans out there, I would STRONGLY advise not only to sign up for Bandsintown, but to take any chance to see Lovejoy perform live.
First off, the speed at which this website sent me a notification that Lovejoy was going on tour was absolutely insane. Without the website notifications, I wouldn't have been able to secure eight spots for my friends and I to see this show. Thank you to Bandsintown for being incredible!!
Second, the Mesa Amphitheater itself was beautiful. The stage was extremely large to the point where my friends and I had about 40-50 people standing in front of us but were still able to secure spots in the second row (if you can call people standing in a large clump a "row"). Furthermore, the way that the amphitheater is structured allows people in the very back to still have an opportunity to see the artist clearly. I had a friend who was in the very back, but she had a great view. However, beware: get there early, my group got in line six hours before the concert started, and there were still 40-50 people in front of us. Y'all are insane, and I love it.
Finally, the performance itself was LIFE-CHANGING. Both of the opening acts were wonderful, and I was absolutely vibing even though I didn't know any of their music. And then Lovejoy absolutely burned the house down with its music. The crowd that their music gathers is so fun- people brought "forehead reveal" signs, posters of Wil's face, and had the crowd actively cheer and boo to images of the L'manburg flag and the American flag- and I got free bracelets and new friends from the experience. Plus, the band itself was so incredible. They're so incredibly talented, and they're actually real, which was crazy!! Wil managed to belt his way through sickness and had tons of fun with the audience (and a forehead reveal), Joe and Ash ROCKED the guitar, and Mark's drumming is so good and impossible. Overall, a spectacular experience. Take any chance you get to see them, nerds.

I'm a huge fan of Lovejoy, and saw them in May as well. Their music selected for this show was pretty much the same as the one in May (although they added their new single which was awesome to hear live). Venue was hot and cramped, and it was apparent that some people were greatly affected by this as both the openers and Lovejoy had to pause the show to make sure people were okay. All the artists did an excellent job making sure everyone was good, and Lovejoy had security distribute water bottles throughout the crowd, which was very considerate! Overall, decent venue (I could see super well and I was in the middle in the middle-back) with a coat check service and good security to lead you to wear you needed to go. Glad I got to see Lovejoy again! Little Image and The Beaches opened for them, they were great picks too!

The performers and staff were awesome and friendly except for a few workers at the merch line that were a bit aggressive and loud. Lovejoy themselves was lovely. I did get the lucky chance of getting early access which was awesome however some of the crowd that arrived later on was pushy and aggressive and we ended up having to escape to avoid a fainting incident. Drinks were too overpriced, got a water and a cider for 17 dollars 👎🏽 But I would to to see more performers!

The venue was really beautiful and unique. Getting out of the venue after the show was a bit nerve-wracking. The first opening band, Brigitte Calls Me Baby, was fun. The second band, White Reaper, was not my cup of heavy metal tea. The lights were blinding and the feedback from the guitars may have caused internal bleeding from my ears.
Lovejoy was, in a word, perfection. My only complaint is that they didn't play a longer show. The lights were amazing. The confetti was glorious. The music was as toe-tapping, beepedy-boop as ever. What can I say? We adored them.

Had to wait in a really long queue haha, but it was totally worth it!
Loupe and Good Kid were great support acts and Good Kid had Wilbur and Joe from Lovejoy help them with a song which was amazing!
Then came Lovejoy and the crowd was wild! The band rocked the building and the crowd kept chanting for more even when the set ended!
Amazing music, and beautiful band members! All so friendly and fun!!
Got to somewhat see (I was stuck behind tall people and I'm only 5"4) my favourite Indie band, and fangirl over Wilbur of course! It was amazing and I wish them all well on the rest of their tour!

As my first ever concert experience, this was the absolute best I could ever ask for and more. It still feels like a dream as I’ve been waiting over 2 years to see these guys live. I’ve been following the lead singer for a long time and finally being able to go to a Lovejoy concert had absolutely changed my life, I’m not afraid to admit. The people were absolutely lovely and everyone was to considerate and caring toward each other. The only thing I’d complain about is the venue, not handing out tap water for free and making the band pay the tab, which they are absolute sweethearts for doing. If you’ve been wanting to go to a Lovejoy concert, my only advice is to just do it. I promise you’ll have no regrets!!!

I absolutely love lovejoy and I loved the venu and how it felt much more personal than a big stage! The only thing is that I couldn't hear the actual singing very well and the instruments overpowered them a bit. One other things that is really important is that the queuing line was very confusing and messed up and I got to the venue at 4 I'm the morning and was 10th in line bit I ended up losing my spot because we needed to move th line to the currect place.but I did end up getting to my spot. Other than that the show was amazing!!

It was fantastic the first and second time I went (yesterday). Since I went it’s all I could think about. I’d say LoveJoy’s concerts were the best things to ever happen to me and I would do anything to go back. Please come back to Philadelphia I love you guys so much ♡. I was literally shaking at the TLA concert and met Crywank and Spillycave and got Lovejoys and Crywanks merch!!

Loved the show, but Danforth was the wrong venue choice for this show. The queue began at 7am and stretched on and on as the day went on, likely due to a younger fanbase more determined to get “good spots”, but this made it incredibly difficult to actually get in the venue, Opener Spilly Cave was energetic and fun despite only having two band members, but the crowd talked over them most of the time. Surprise openers Good Kid were phenomenal and had great energy. Lovejoy’s performance was amazing as expected, but the audience’s screaming almost drowned out the band.

Without a doubt the best concert I've ever been to! The crowd was so nice and welcoming with games being played while waiting in the queue and in the venue itself! Also the band was super engaging and even stood on the roof of a building engaging with the crowd!
I wish the venue allowed signs for this gig but it's their overall policy and they were incredible for everything else!
Genuinely great experience all around, well worth the drive from Illinois and if Lovejoy ever come back to the midwest you know where I'll be!

The best thing I have ever seen, I’m still not over it, I doubt I ever will be. If you get the chance, do it, you won’t regret it, it might be the highlight of your life.
In all seriousness, the venue made sure that everyone was getting water. The band is incredibly talented and has been on my must see list since their debut. The openers are wonderful and fit the vibe perfectly. The set list is consecutive bangers and the lyrical genius is entirely off the charts.

Incredibly good performance from crywank and Boy Jr, who opened. Lovejoy themselves were also very good, amazing stage presence and theyre all very talented! You can tell they enjoy what they do, it reflects in their performance.
I'm not as much of a diehard fan as most people, so the loudness of the crowd both before the show started and during the show was too much for me. I'm just used to smaller shows, but also its good to keep in mind if youre sensitive to loud noise! buy earplugs :)

Lovejoy was absolutely amazing- I’ve listened to them since their first EP, and being able to see them at Shaky Knees was the highlight of my year. Their band is absolutely fantastic, their music is the best I’ve ever heard, and I wish I could go back and experience it ten times over. The only regret I have is not making it early enough to get their merch (it sold out hours before they played) and that the show only lasted 45 minutes. Best 45 minutes of my life.

It was an absolutely amazing experience however as a newcomer to this lind of thing I didnt expect that the times mentioned on websites would be so different irl. The show was supposed to be from 8.30 to 11.00 according to the website(minus good kid and loupe ofc) but lovejoy only came on the stage at 9.15 and left an hour later. I didnt expect that. But other than that I HAD AN ABSOLUTE BLAST

The only concert that i’ve felt 100% safe and comfortable at. The environment at Lovejoy gigs is so incredibly welcoming and it makes me so happy to see everyone having a good time. Lovejoy has been my favorite band since their first music release and I was so surprised that they sound way better live. I feel like that’s hard to come across these days. Even if you have no idea who Lovejoy is, I guarantee if you go to their concert you will have a great time!!
