Raising Insanity

The band was formed by former Saints in Sin members Arild Nådland, Kristian Kristiansen and Marius Steffensen in February 2014 as they wanted to explore a more melodic approach to metal. Also former Stormtrooper singer Vidar Henriksen joined on bass shortly after. Raising Insanity was left without a singer until Kenny Lee (former MANFY/IUMENTA) joined the band in February 2015. Marius left the band and retired in spring 2015 to focus more on education and family, and to fill his shoes, young Alexander Lancaster from the band From Prison to President joined the band. Summer 2015, Raising Insanity decided to experiment with a second singer that Alexander recommended. JC Roalkvam that have played together with Alexander in From Prison to President joined the band and made Raising Insanity a 6-piece band. In July 2016 Co-Founder Kristian decided to leave the RI family to pursue other dreams and Oli, also with a past in From Prison to President, quickly stepped in as his replacement. Raising Insanity started recording their first 7 track EP in December 2014, but only finished the instrumental parts. The band went back in studio summer 2015 to continue recording vocal tracks, and on Halloween (30.10.15) the album was released digitally on most platforms.
