Declarations was formed at the tail end of 2010 and has endured multiple member changes, song structure reforming, and even a brief hiatus. Now with a solid lineup and an impressive collection of songs, Declarations is back and stronger than ever. Stylistically, their sound is a very unique blend of deathcore, progressive metal, and post-hardcore genres. Ultimately, Declarations' initiative has become to raise the bar for the independent metal scene, not only taking into account difficulty, technicality, and intricacies, but also honing in on the essence of songwriting and the importance of melody. Declarations has shared the stage with heavy-hitting national metal acts such as: Within the Ruins, The Contortionist, Whitechapel, Ligeia, Bury Your Dead, In the Midst of Lions, Bermuda, For the Fallen Dreams, Evergreen Terrace, and many more.
