Awesome show. Great venue. Opener didn't really fit the vibe.

The Cold Stares bring it every time. From the blues to straight up rock n roll they always deliver. They are awesome live- do yourself a favor and catch a show.

Great show and great venue. Scott and team are great and seem to get even better with each show. They have an energy and passion and just keep putting out more and more new music/CDs. I’ll be back to see them in May at The Basement. If you get a chance to see them play you should do it now while you can enjoy their music/energy in nice memorable clubs! They have 6/7 CDs dating back to 2014 and each one kicks. Keep rocking CS!

Great Show!

The Cold Stares were fantastic! Great blues heavy rock n roll. Chris Tapp has a voice that you will recognize when you hear him, rich and deep. The guys on drums (Brian Mullins) and bass (Bryce) keep you tapping your feet and moving your head to the beat. you can't help but have a good time. Do yourself a favor and check them out yourself.

Loved them. Really really great to see and hear the live. Fantastic performance.

They execute each movement with an assassin's efficiency, building the tension with no-nonsense hard-rock-a-billy blues riffs, then striking the killing blow with strong leads and compelling vocals. If you take the time, an unexpected reward is waiting for you in a closer look at the lyrics to their songs. This Indiana blues rock band isn't just killing it, they're raising the dead and making them dance before our eyes. "God made the sun and the heat of the day For man to work and earn his pay God made the night with a big drum beat Snapping his fingers and tapping his feet"

Killer blues rock in a very cool venue.

This is a great venue to see a band. Two levels. Plus a bar area. With some seating.but primarily standing room only. We got there early to see the opening bands. Not sure about how this show was promoted, if at all. The first two bands were indie rock bands. A very young crowd that ended up leaving before the headliner. Which is a shame. The Cold Stares are a band that could easily sell out thousands seat venues. Impeccable vocals, A show that keeps you engaged the entire time, and generally nice people who took time after the show to say hi to their fans and took pictures. I will see these guys anywhere I can and will be buying their new album when it drops in August. I don’t know what’s happened to the Austin music scene but I’m concerned that people didn’t show up to see this band. We need to be promoting stellar acts like this one when they come to town! If you haven’t seen The Cold Stares live, make sure you do. An amazing band that everybody should check out!
