About Richie Nuzz

Richie "Nuzz" Nuzzolese (born January 22, 1990) is a Pop & R&B singer and recording artist. He is also a classically trained jazz musician. He was born in Manhasset, NY and raised on the North Shore of Long Island in the beautiful town of Upper Brookville. Although music has always been a part of his life, Richie’s road to stardom began as a fashion model. After attending Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, Richie moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting and modeling. He has been featured in national publications such as Cosmopolitan, Men’s Exercise, Exercise for Men Only, Rich Young, and more as one of the nations most-requested fitness models. An appearance in 2011 Katy Perry “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)" music video put the artist on the map, attracting hundreds of thousands of fans. A year later, Britney Spears, took Katy Perry’s star male model to feature him in her “Work Bitch” music video. However, despite his success as a model and actor, Richie's heart was constantly pulled back to music. He has been passionately playing the trombone since the age of 9 and has a classical upbringing, having spent several years playing in orchestras and symphonic bands. Even during his modeling career, Richie continued to work on his music craft, creating numerous music video covers as well as writing original masterpieces. Richie Nuzz realized that it was time to pursue his true passion full-time after he was approached by Ryan Leslie’s artist development team to be featured as part of Ryan’s independent #Renegades movement. This career change coincides with Richie's decision to move his home base to Atlanta. The East Coast has always been the artist's true home. Richie Nuzz released his first EP – “iMMACULATE” on July 4, 2014, syncing the release with the national Independence day as a symbol to his movement as an independent music artist. Richie has also assembled a team of industry's best professionals to help him along the way. His music features beats by A6, who also works with Joe Budden and Lloyd Banks, and his engineer, Dan Cahil, works with August Alsina, who had the #1 Hip Hop album on iTunes earlier this year. Richie's music is quickly gaining national and international recognition. He is the 2014 Winner of the ONE Musicfest People's Choice Award, which earned him the chance to perform at the largest music festival in the Southeast (over 25,000 fans), alongside Kendrick Lamar, NAS, Jhene Aiko and more at the Aaron's Amphitheatre at Lakewood in Atlanta on September 13, 2014. You can hear a taste of his trombone and his unique mix of “theatrical pop” on his EP, now available on iTunes and www.richienuzz.com. Richie's upbeat attitude and his core belief that each individual should believe in him or herself and pursue one's dreams and passions fueled the need for his BEiMMACULATE™ movement. Richie strives to use the movement to motivate his fans and fellow industry professionals to give in to their creativity and to achieve greatness. If Richie is not in the studio recording music or producing videos, you can find him in his loft designing clothing, fragrances and discussing new creative merchandising ideas. Richie Nuzz is a brand that has and will continue to satisfy the massive appetite of all the #NUZZLEHEADS globally!
