Bop City Beats

A musical experiment I started a few years back, but a finally came into fruition January 2010. This blog is a place where everyone can come to learn, share and enjoy music. Whether its a playlist influenced by the scene in San Francisco, or a sweet venue in Minneapolis... you can find all of it here. Years of travel, living in other cities, countless hours in a radio studio, concerts... it all comes together on this blog, BOP CITY BEATS. Here is the format: Mondays - Week in Preview/Review: Concerts reviews from the previous week, and shows for the upcoming week. Tuesdays - New Music: Plain and simple, what's new...only the best. Wednesdays - GUEST DJs: Each week, I will have a new person on the music blog to talk about music. A band they like, a track to check out...or a show you can miss. Thursdays - "Tracks that Time Forgot" - A bit of a twist...this day is here to remind you of all the good music that seems to slip through the cracks. Whether it be "walking on broken glass" by Annie Lennox or "take a picture" by Filter...it will always be a day for nostalgia. Friday - FREESTYLE Friday: Obvoiously... my favorite day of the week. Friday will be a potpourri of music. New tracks, old tracks, shows, artists, TOP 5's, laughs, cries... Rhymes and Rythym. Hope you enjoy it. Welcome to our Nirvana.
