About Brett Fromson
“You deserve to earn a living in this business,” Randy Newman said to singer-songwriter Brett Fromson upon hearing him play. Brett’s lyric-driven songs speak to his loyal, grass roots following, and captivate everyone who comes across them. Through the prestigious Popular Music Program at USC Thornton School of Music, Brett has been lucky enough to work with some of his heroes and musical legends including Randy Newman, John Fogerty, Steve Miller, Noel Stookey, David Foster, and Lamont Dozier. Brett’s debut release, Heartbeat Like A Train – EP was released early to a select few at the USC Thornton School Charles Dickens Dinner, whereupon Brett became the first recipient of the Glenn Frey Scholarship. The record was released to the public on January 1st, 2014. A multi-instrumentalist, Brett has performed extensively throughout Los Angeles and his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio. Some of Brett’s notable experiences include performing at The Woody Guthrie Centennial Celebration at USC’s Bovard Auditorium, and participating in the 2012 International Folk Alliance Conference, a guest of The Levitt Pavilions. Americana singer-songwriter. Cleveland born and raised, currently living in LA.
